Parking:
There’s plenty of parking at the property. If you prefer a stroll, you can park along the road before the track.Arrivals:
Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your start time. If you're early, we suggest visiting nearby spots like Old Hall Farm or exploring Bungay's cafés and bakeries. -
👕 What to Wear
Footwear: Wellies or ankle-high boots (no sandals or heels), for the suit to tuck in or go over.
Clothing: Long trousers/ leggings and a long-sleeved shirt are ideal for underneath the beekeeping suit. Layers are good, but don’t overdress—it can get warm in the suit!
Hair: Long hair? Please tie it back.
Scents: Please avoid strong perfumes or scented products.
We’ll provide a protective suit, hood, and gloves for you to wear.

🌦 Weather Note
We are at the mercy of the great British weather! If it’s too wet, cold, or too windy to safely open the hives, we’ll be in touch the day before to rearrange - please keep an eye on your emails and if you have any concerns please do get in touch.

📸 Photos & Memories
Feel free to bring a phone or camera—just note that gloves can make touchscreens tricky but not impossible!
We’ll also be taking a few photos, which we’ll share afterwards so you can remember your time with the bees.

🕙 What to Expect
The experience will last up to two hours.
The visit includes:
- An introduction to the bees
- Time in protective gear at the hives
- Q&A and a chance to relax with a drink and a honey tasting

👨👩👧 Bringing Friends or Family?
Only those booked onto the experience can attend.
If you have friends or family travelling with you, we kindly ask that they wait elsewhere during the session. Bungay is just a few minutes away and perfect for a coffee, stroll, or a browse in the shops.If you'd like to add someone to the experience, get in touch first to see if we have space or book directly via the bee experience shop item.

- Handmade beeswax products
- Wildlife-friendly creations like bug hotels and bee habitats
We accept cash and card, cash is always preferred so not to have to pay the bank fees but all cards are accepted too.

🐝 Important Info (The Small Print)
Stings: We do our best to keep everyone safe, but we can’t guarantee you won’t be stung. If you’re allergic to bee stings, this experience isn’t suitable.
Weather dependent: If we need to postpone due to poor weather, we’ll contact you as soon as possible.
Changes: Please give at least 2 weeks’ notice if you need to reschedule.
No-shows: Missing the experience without letting us know may mean forfeiting your voucher.
Age policy: Under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Health & COVID: If you’re unwell, please stay home—we’ll rebook you. The bees will wait!
Accessibility: There’s some standing involved, but we’re happy to provide a chair if needed. There is a step into the changing hut and toilet. Please contact us with any questions.
