About Us
Hello! I’m Stacy, owner and beekeeper at Sunnyfields Apiaries.
When my beekeeping hobby became an obsession, with dozens of hives across the garden and local countryside, it felt the right time to share my passion for the natural world with others that were interested. So In 2018 I departed the corporate world and my office became the garden, my colleagues the bees!
Now with our training apiary at our farm on the Norfolk/ Suffolk border, in the beautiful Waveney Valley near Bungay, we welcome guests throughout the summer from all over the UK (and World too!) to explore inside and outside the hive.
Our, award-winning, bee experiences have been on TV (much to my delight and embarrassment!) and are enjoyed by young and old. I have been fortunate enough to have had the privilege of rubbing shoulders and training with many high profile British beekeepers and I’m continually looking for ways to improve my knowledge.
Our experiences and workshops aren’t just for those interested in bees, with creative pursuits offered that include working with flowers and beeswax you can take some time away from normal life to join us in the training room to craft and enjoy the tranquillity of our beautiful space.
For those looking for a little more support during the early years of beekeeping I offer courses, mentoring and one to one training, at my apiary or yours. I also love talking about the bees and speak to groups and businesses about the joys and benefits of being bee friendly.
If you have a question or query that isn’t answered on the website please do get in touch via the contact form. In the meantime, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a lovely day.
