Easter Holiday Children’s Craft Workshop🐝🌿
A hands-on, nature-inspired workshop for little creators!
Join us this Easter for a fun and creative workshop designed especially for children who love nature and crafting! Over three hours, your child (accompanied by their grown up) will:
🌟 Roll and craft their own beautiful hand-rolled beeswax candle
🌻 Plant a sunflower to take home, ready to bloom and feed the bees in summer
🏡 Build and decorate a bee habitat, providing a haven for solitary bees
🐝 Discover the magic of pollinators – through engaging chats about bees and their role in nature
Each child will take home everything they make, along with a newfound appreciation for our buzzing friends! Small groups (max 5 children) ensure a relaxed, hands-on experience.
3-hour workshop | Ideal for primary school-aged children
One accompanying adult per child required (adult goes free)

Your host is Stacy, beekeeper, gardener, and a C&G qualified floral designer. Stacy’s passion for her bees and the world in which they interact is catching so be warned! She is also has a GCSE in Child Development and was a Nanny in the USA for a while before moving into the corporate world for work.
We won’t be visiting the beehives during this event so if you’d like to see the bees in their hives please take a look at our bee experiences

Where is the event taking place?
The events will be taking place in the training apiary at Sunnyfields HQ which is in the beautiful Waveney Valley on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. The apiary is located next to a 99 acre ancient woodland where buzzards, red kites, deer, foxes and other wildlife can be found in abundance, the location is surrounded by fields (and the nearest neighbour is ½ a mile away!). The postcode is NR35 2DQ – half an hour from Norwich, an hour from Ipswich and just over an hour from Colchester.
I’ve bought a ticket but can no longer attend.
Tickets for events are non-refundable.

This event is suitable for those age 4 and up (all children must be accompanied by a adult for which there is no charge).
