Discover the world of the honey bee with this exclusive, private, up-close and personal bee experience at a Sunnyfields apiary.
The 2-hour session introduces you to a honey bee colony; we’ll explore outside and inside the hive to view the bees at work whilst understanding how they fit into our ecosystem and how honey bees differ from the other species of bee in our gardens.
Perfect for those interested in bees, the natural world and of course honey. The private bee experience is suitable for those intrigued by beekeeping but isn’t exclusively for those wanting to keep their own bees but for anyone interested in gardening or the natural world. The private bee experience is tailored to it’s attendees.
This price is for up to four people. Attendees may attend on their own or bring up to three others with them. For larger groups please contact us to arrange.

This private beekeeping session takes place near Bungay on the Suffolk/Norfolk border (NR35) and can be booked for one person or a group of you- the apiary will remain exclusive to you during your experience and one ticket allows up to four visitors.
A confirmation letter will be sent to you by email which has details on the booking and can be printed to give to the recipient if a gift.
Please note:
We will supply you with a protective bee suit for use during the experience.
We cannot guarantee you won’t get stung but will do our very best to ensure you don’t - if you have bee sting allergies this experience isn’t for you.
Experience vouchers and tickets are non-refundable
Experiences are weather dependent. Should an experience have to be postponed a new date will be offered. Weekend and weekday slots are available.
Experience vouchers are valid for one year from purchase.
Children are welcome to attend experiences, we find ages 6 and up are most interested. A paying adult who will be responsible for the child during the experience is required.
